Because where else are you going to eat on the island of Lana'i?
After a wind-filled, 4-wheeling day, we were eager to find some food in Lana'i City. The name city is a bit of a misnomer considering that it's very small and quaint.
We had read that Richard's makes was a fantastic spot to grab a pokè bowl, so we walked by Dole Park to check it out.
Once we stepped foot inside, we were surprised how modern it was. The selection of items on the shelves was more extensive than I'm accustomed to at most markets. After spending some time exploring the offerings, we made our way to the back and checked out the pokè offerings.
Patrons get their choice of 3 different sizes, with the largest being just $9.99. I actually left finding this to be the best value for a pokè bowl that I've ever encountered. Incredibly filling, lot of unique flavors and textures, and a great price!
