Park Silly Sunday Market

Park City's summer market features live music, beer garden, food and craft vendors.

Park Silly Sunday Market. Main Street, Park City

As the weather shifts in the summer months, Main Street Park City becomes a bustling open-air market on Sundays.

Between the months of June and September, Park Silly is a great way to spend a Sunday (some sometimes Saturday) afternoon.

The market has over 150 vendors weekly and no market is the same as the performers switch out weekly.

The market is a fantastic way for the community to get acclimated to emerging businesses that they may not otherwise get to connect with. There's everything from high-end artwork to gourmet licorice.

Possibly the most popular aspect of the market is the beer garden. After showing ID, you'll get a wristband to approach the bar with a variety of beer, wine, and spirits. The most popular item however is probably the Bloody Mary bar. After purchasing a cup, you'll get access to to some extensive ingredients to make your best Bloody Mary beverage.

With over 200,000 individuals passing through the event annually, there is certainly a high likelihood that a lot of waste will be produced.

The event goals itself to have zero waste. 87% of the waste from the event diverted from landfills and over 25,000 pounds of trash recycled. 1,500 pounds of potential waste goes to feeding local pigs. There is also a free bike valet to discourage people from driving to the event.

Check out the calendar on the event webpage and stop by if you're free on a Sunday. It's a great way try out some local food vendors, view local art without visiting a dozen galleries, and see entertainment without buying a ticket.

Know Before You Go

  • Recommended to bring cash given that all vendors may not accept credit payments.

  • With the summer months, it's always wise to bring a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water.

  • You may want to bring a bag or cooler to store your purchases in.

  • Dogs are allowed on leash, but the asphalt can reach temperatures of 135 degrees

  • Parking is limited on nearby streets, but there are a few parking garages and lots nearby. Main Street doesn't have a lot of release valves, so traffic can back up quickly.
