Large Brewpub that overlooks the Ogden River.
After popping in at Talisman Brewing, we stopped by the much larger, much more modern Ogden River Brewing.
Surrounded by several restaurants, a small residential area, and you guessed it - the Ogden River, this brewery had a shiny new feel to it.
The brewery, built in the memorable year of 2020, sits upon the site of the Becker's Brewing and Malting Company. Historic because it was the longest continuously operating brewery in the state of Utah. Ogden River Brewing now continues the legacy in the same spot.
Entering the brewery, it was immediately evident how new the brewery was. We had hoped for patio seating, but it was unfortunately all booked up on this beautiful Utah day. We settled for the bar seating that looked out at the Ogden River Parkway. From here, we could enjoy our beer and listen to the sounds fo the river and watch the joggers and bikers passing by.
The brewery offers 10 taps as well as a full bar and wine list. The flagship beers included Separation Sour IPA, Blasting Powder Coffee Milk Stout, Koala Express New Zealand Pilsner, Lemon Basil Gose, Hop Train Pale Ale, and Pink Boots (pink guava puree and vanilla beans).
After finishing my beers, I checked out the upstairs area, which seemed to be closed at the time. On a cooler day, this would be a great spot to enjoy a beer as it has an even better perspective of the nearby river.
It appears that the area surrounding the brewery is largely a work-in-progress, so I'm eager to see what this place looks like in a year or two. Enjoyed the beers, enjoyed the views and will certainly be back in the future.
Know Before You Go
There is a lot of nearby construction, and even tougher a slower period, parking was tough to come by.
Five tasters were allowed in a single flight at a time.
Very limited patio and window seating, so if you want one of the best spots with views of the nearby river, you may have to wait a bit.
Five minutes down the road is Talisman Brewing.

Location
Found right off the 89 Freeway and just a few minutes from Interstate 15. A lot of new building in the area, so parking could be tight.
