Twin Falls has a brewery, wine bar, and spirits all in one location.
After viewing some waterfalls and hot springs in Twin Falls, Idaho, we were eager to have some local brews. As you drive west into town along 2nd Street, the brewery is tough to miss.
After entering the Brewery through a shared lobby, you'll find an extensive dining area with multiple levels. Probably the biggest wow factor of this brewery is how it's incorporated into the dining area. The stainless steel and copper tanks are located on the ground floor, but extend up into the main floor of the brewery.
Upon arrival, most of the dining area was booked with reservations, so we took a seat at the bar. We noticed many nearby patrons dining on the "Idaho Nachos," which were sidewinder fried potatoes, melted jack and cheddar cheese, jalapeños, sour cream, pico de gallo, chorizo, and ground beef. We tried the vegetarian version and thoroughly enjoyed it.
At the bar, we noticed substantial goblets to serve single pours of beer as well as the beer flight shaped as the state of Idaho.
Some of their beers included "When the Helles" (Bavarian Helles-style lager named after a questionable due date for the birth of a child), "Murder Hornet IPA" (if you were alive in 2020, you should get this one), "Eleventh Hour IPA" (named for the former Elks' Lodge Building, which mandated everything must be stopped at 11 PM for a toast), and "Dos Cascades" (a Mexican-style lager which translates to "Twin Falls" in English). The brewery home page probably does a better job than anyone providing background on their beers. I encourage you to check it out as there are some very interesting reads relating to the history of the area.
Unfortunately, I would have loved to sample more beers and some of the dining items, but we had to hit the road for a four-hour commute home. We loved the experience and even if you're not a fan of beer, they have wine and spirits readily available as well!
Know Before You Go
There is plenty of free parking on nearby streets, so with a little effort, you should be able to find a spot.
Dinner hours tend to get busy, so if you're hoping to sit down on weekends, you may want to make a reservation.
Koto Brewing Company is located less than 3 minutes away on foot, so you may want to try that as well.
