Craft Brewery in the bustling Sugar Hour area.
While strolling through the Sugar House area of Salt Lake City, we found ourselves in front of a new brewery known as Hopkins Brewing Company.
Immediately noticeable on the storefront is the hop graphic on the front door (HOPkins) as well as a pride flag and Black Lives Matter sign.
Out front is a patio area and then immediately inside you'll notice the merchandise area, brew tanks, and a large brick wall that appears to be a holdover from a previous business.
The seating area goes back much further than the storefront would lead you to believe and there's a large bar area in the center. Throughout the bar, you'll notice small lights hanging from the ceiling and stickers all over the place.
Above the bar, you'll see the beers on tap, including Coffee and Cream Milk Stout, Chili Mangose, Rye Pilsner, Guava Goddess, & Friendly Introduction Pale Ale.
On white boards throughout the brewery, you'll find menus of the cocktails, craft soda, hard cider, and food options that they offer. Here you'll also find a calendar of upcoming events/specials and what beers are currently in the fermenters.
If you're in the Sugar House area, be sure to stop by for some food and brew. There appears to be something for everyone here!
Know Before You Go
As of publishing date, their website was under construction, so Instagram may be the best source of information until that is up and running.
When we visited, all drinks and food were ordered at the bar rather than table service. Unsure if this is related to the pandemic or has always been the case.
