Hawaiian Village Coffee

Updated: Apr 13, 2019

Local coffee shop offering coffee, pastries and kombucha.

Likikoi Malasada (Portuguese confection) at Hawaiian Village Coffee

While heading south on the Honoapaillani Highway my wife asked me to search for a local coffee shop as we were over our daily dose of Starbucks.

Luckily, we stumbled upon one right next to the Lahaina Maui Brewing Company. The interior was decorated with surfboards, Tiki sculptures, bamboo, fishing nets, and all sorts of local symbols.

While we simply wanted had stopped for a regular coffee, we found an extensive menu of coffees, teas, kombucha and pastries.

We had intended to drive south to try the malasada, but to our surprise that had them at the counter with lilkoi (passionfruit) filling.

The staff was incredibly friendly and we left wishing we had found this gem earlier in the week. If you're ever staying on the west side of Maui, be sure to stop in!

Location

Found on Maui's west side, north of Lahaina. Turn off of State Route 30 into the Kahana Gateway Shopping Center. It is a smaller parking lot, but even during busy periods, we were able to secure parking.
