Slow dripped Vietnamese craft coffee and the best avocado toast in Orange County.
Quality craft coffee shops are hard to come by in this part of Orange County, so when Blk Dot Coffee opened at the Tustin Marketplace I immediately gave it a try.
On entering I loved the modern decor and open work spaces they had for you to easily post up with your coffee and connect to their free WIFI.
I ordered the Iced VTM Latte which is one of their specialties - VTM standing for Vietnamese slow drip coffee which is strong and super rich, made with condensed milk and espresso. My first sip was heaven! Perfectly made for a recharge on a warm afternoon. The VTM Lattes range from $4.25 for a 12 oz to $4.75 to a 16 oz. They also offer all of the traditional coffee house favorites as well as specialty items like Iced Sea Salt Coffee (which I'll be trying on my next visit).
I also ordered the avocado toast which came on thick sliced country bread with heirloom tomatoes and cracked black pepper ($8.95). Between the consistency of the fresh bread and savory spices, it was absolute perfection. I can't wait to come back to try more of their fresh made goodies and sandwiches like the CAB - cream cheese and avocado on a bagel with lemon pepper seasoning.
