Hot spring pool with giant logs, basketball hoops, and diving boards.
After checking out the sister resort of Miracle Hot Springs, we made our way across the street to Banbury Hot Springs. The activity here seemed much more elevated vs Miracle Hot Springs with the parking lot seemingly overflowing.
At first glance, you'd be surprised why there are so many visitors to this resort. There is only a single, large pool, and no more than half a dozen private pools.
Similar to Miracle Hot Springs, this location operates year-round and with its soft and odorless water. The mineral water used here bubbles to the surface at 138 degrees but it cooled by the Snake River aquifier.
Admission here is a little cheaper than Miracle Hot Springs at just $10 per adult. Private pools are just $4 per hour, but with limited quantity, they book up fast.
Whereas Miracle Hot Springs has multiple pools at varying temperatures, Banbury Hot Springs has a single giant pool. This pool is probably preferred by most in that visitors have more space, you can jump from a diving board, and there are other accessories such as a basketball hoop and floating log.
Beyond the pool, there is camping on site and kayak rentals. The kayak rentals start at $15 for two hours and allows you to paddle to the beautiful Blue Heart Springs.
Open year-round, be sure to stop in any time you're in Twin Falls, except of course on Sundays.
